xbmc remote doesn't work on Ice Cream Sandwich (Galaxy Nexus)?

I compiled the app and has been fixed using the fix from comment http://code.google.com/p/android-xbmcrem...id=581#c30.
maybe this isn't a good long term solution but for now is better of nothing.

Edit: looks like I spoke too soon, the App FC's if I try and use anything other than the remote.

i haven't problem, i tried all first to post it.
try this: go in manage hosts and try to change your host and then try again..

alright.it works better as the original but i got often force closes when i look at my movies or my tv-shows.

maybe something with the download of the posters and banners.because it hapens when the 5 or 6 cover is loaded.again not usable but thanks for the work to get the earlyer error away.one step closer to a hopefully full working app for android...

Exeption: out of memory.we´re aware of this problem and we´re working on it.restarting the app should help.

thats new.never see this warning bevor.but no free memory on my gn?for sure... 360 MB left... coming again and again even after restart the phone or app...

I no longer get null errors or FC, but the buttons on the remote don't work.

I wanted to chime in and say the build here: http://www.multiupload.com/FBN9PHX5CJ is working on my GN 4.0.3 mostly fine. Full remote functionality, library seems to be functioning although it does crash consistently if i try to downloads tv posters or enter a subfolder for a tv show. I also just gave this build a shot: http://code.google.com/p/android-xbmcrem...signed.apk and it also seems to be working, remote works fine including volume, and i'm able to browse through TV in library mode without crashing, at least prior to downloading all of the art. Great work!

no errors on my rootet 4.0.3 Galaxy Nexus.
1340 Movieposter Downloaded from the library with this app and got no problems.tv subcategories works fine.no force closes.

Hi,

i tried both Versions on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus S with stock Version 4.0.1 so far. Every time I try to download the Cover Information it crashes. While browsing the libary after some time it crashes too. My XBMC had been updated from nightly to Beta-1, so far no change.

For Debugging purpose: My Libary is stored in a MySQL Database and the Phone is Android 4.0.1 NOT ROOTED.

When I find so time to update i will try it with 4.0.3. Maybe theres a Bug with 4.0.1

I tried it on 4.0.1 with MySQL, seems to work but as soon as you enable SMS alerts and stuff the app dies, so I believe needs a bit more tweaking
