Usable on cheap tablet?

I have been considering buying one of the cheap $70 Android tablets that come up on Woot! periodically as a dedicated remote.

Are there any minimum requirements that I need to consider?

Im running it on cheap 700mhz tablet & a joggler (running android) with no problems at all.
