If your happy with the lack of information that "Manually Add To Library" option provided its not exactly hard to have a generic nfo that you can copy and paste in with the movie it only needs the following to provide the same as that option in the GUI

movie.nfo

Code:

or

  <genre></genre>

I have the same problem can't update my Home Videos with tumbnails and fanart like before. The only resolution for me was going back to 10.1. Eden is not ready yet. I have alot of home videos that I like to create my own tumbnails and fanart. Hopefully they can add that feature back if not well 10.1 is good for me untill there's a fix. If someone knows a better way around it besides the above way give me a shout out.
