Lost audio on iplayer, RTE and other players after upgrade
#1
Hi,

I've upgraded to the latest windows (margo) 4.12.

Since this I've lost audio on bbc iplayer and the vod.ie player. Video is good. All audio for live TV, recorded streams and downloaded content is all good...

A few other unrelated questions....... I don't have a key in the timeline guide, I had this in Dharma but not recently. Should this appear in this?
Should timeshift work in live TV? I can pause but not RW/FF. So, if I pause, I can not catch up. I may have misconfigured something here...

thanks...

Could you try if it works with one of the recent official nightlies (without PVR)?
See http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/win32/

I'm wondering whether the commit below (that I imported from tsp42) is causing your problem or whether it is something else.

https://github.com/margro/xbmc/commit/0a...be2e15e968

This commit is not in the previous build and not in mainline.

Which version of XBMC did work for you? My previous pvr build or did you upgrade from Dharma?

Timeshift is officially not yet supported. For MediaPortal "pause" support is added as a skin hack. Rew/ff is not supported, so you cannot catch up, only watch in delay.

What do you mean with "key" in the timeline?

thanks for the quick reply.
I upgraded from your previous build, all was good with that with the audio. I can try some different versions later to see where/if it breaks.

By key I meant the colour code key, ie sport is red etc. Its disappeared at some stage, possibly since I upgraded from Dharma.

OK, so all the nightlies from the link work OK.

I upgraded a different PC to the lastest PVR build and get the same thing.

Ok, I've removed the suspicious ffmpeg patch from tsp42.
Could you try the replacement ffmpeg dll's from this zip file:
ffmpeg_fix_margro-20111204.zip
They are located in your XBMC/system/players/dvdplayer folder
