Hi,
I have been customizing my xbmc on windows and it was all fine until.....
I have custom menu items "UFC" and "ANIME" which i have created using smart playlists and using path rules (anime and ufc are all in their own folders).
The problem is, they also show up in the Movies (UFC do) and TV Shows (Anime does)
So How can I make sure they only show up in the playlists and not the movie and tv libraries?
Cheers, borals.
Exclude files from "movies" and "tv shows"

You cant your need to create playlists for Movie and TV that exclude "UFC" and "ANIME"
Depending on the skin you could hide XBMC's Movie and TV and replace it with your playlists named Movie and TV that exclude "UFC" and "ANIME" Current HTPC • Lian-Li PC-C37 • Gigabyte GA-E7AUM-DS2H • Intel C2D E8400 E0 Stepping • OCZ Vertex SSD • 4GB Corsair TwinX XMS2 DDR2 • Corsair HX650W Modular PSU (Free Upgrade) • LG CH08LS10 Blu-Ray Drive • Scythe Big Shuriken • Acousti DustPROOF 70mm Fan |

ahh ok, that makes sense.
If I do this, is there a way to use the "recently added" plugin on smart play lists, like it usually does for your movies and tv shows should you choose to use it? |

If you mean the widget that shows up on the home screen when on Movies and TV you would need to edit the skin to achieve this so the original Movies/TV link to your playlist instead
