Unable to write in ATV2 with Filezilla
#1
I have just bought an ATV2, basically for installing XBMC. I jailbroke the device, installed the XBMC, etc and everything has worked perfectly.
I read some instructions in a XBMC forum to download wirelessly from my PC to my ATV2 some media (movies). I started to do and everything fine.
Bur suddenly after I copied 5 or 6 files, Filezilla says that "error while writing: failure". I can delete the files and copy some more, but never more than 5 or 6 files. Through PUTTY I have checked the disk space and it says:

AppleTV:/private/var root# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/disk0s1s1 750M 397M 346M 54% /
devfs 27K 27K 0 100% /dev
/dev/disk0s1s2 6.7G 6.7G 0 100% /private/var

Does it mean that I only have 6.7G available? (it is a new ATV2 !!)
If this is the case, how to fix it?

Thanks in advance for your help

Yes. The atv only has 8 gig flash available before installing anthing.
You are not meant to store your media on the atv2. There is not much room or advantage in storing on the device. Share the media from another device using smb/ftp/nfs/afp/webdav/upnp.

Thanks for the info. I thought that ATV2 had more space in.
