I jailbroke my atv2 on v:4.3 using seas0npass and installed Atv flash then through that XBMC, The main problem im having is when useing the search option in the Navi-x plugin instant freeze up!
Also im getting random reboots back to atv main menu when navigating through xbmc.

Has anyone installed a nightly build that fixes these issues?

I think this is a recent development. I just posted a new thread about this very topic.

I have successfully run XBMC on my 2 ATV2's for months and months. I have begun receiving these issues about two weeks ago.

If I were you I would post this info in my thread so that a dev can see and help walk us through debugging and fixing the issues at hand.

Abrasher the only new problem for me is the random reboot back to atv main menu, Navi-x has never been stable, I'm using xbmc version 10.0-9 with Navi-x version 3.7 on my apple tv.

I would disagree. NavX has been stable for me since I jailbroke my system. Granted some links don't work from time to time... but it has always been stable for me.

try updating Navi-X to 3.7.1... that was released to fix the freeze up in search, and i believe 3.7.2 is out now adding icefilms support but i haven't tried it.
As for other random crashes as far as i know theres no real 'stable' edition of xbmc for the ATV2 but the nightlies are as close as things get as of now... but i wouldnt recommend without knowing beforehand what will change ie databases etc, and if you do expect a crash now and again Confused

From the above thread it seems maybe the only solutions are to downgrade navi-x to 3.6 or update xbmc to a nightly build with the risk of more problems,

I'm currently using navi-x 3.7.2 and still getting the freeze on search issue which is the only problem that bothers me, everything els seems stable,

Have many of you had success from the search freeze up by downgrading navi-x to 3.6?

I update xbmc to nightly 10 dec and updated navi-x to 3.7.3 but im still getiing freeze ups on searching and when adding to faves on Navi-x.

This is so frustrating not being able to find a solution :confused2:
