xbmc skips frames
#1
hey,

i use xbmc dharma 10.1 with aeon mq3 skin in win7 and play it with an Asrock ion 330
I enabled the following things : DVXA2 , adjust display refresh rate to match video and sync playback to video
A/V sync method is audio clock
i also disabled "Use a fullscreen window rather than true fullscreen".
Now when i start xbmc it uses 2% cpu, but after 15min it suddenly uses 30% cpu (is this normal?)
In power management of win 7 i also use high performance ..

Now when i play my movies or series every 5 min xbmc skips a frame
Sometimes the screen turns purple but only for one second or so but not always

Does someone know what could be the problem?

thx in advance!

Check to make sure all of your drivers are up to date including your video driver. There are also many other posts on this forum and info on the Wiki that may help as well. If all else fails and you still cant figure it out post a debug log as per this link http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=42708 a lot of people wont help if you don't have the required info with your problem.

There are problems using Intel integrated video with Dharma 10.1 - update (or make a new portable XBMC install) to the nightlies and test with some videos.

Make sure you turn UAC off if you want 24p video.

So if i just execute the master.exe file he updates my dharma to nightlies ?
and when i copy this : Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\ then i have a back up of my current settings right?
Sorry for my noob questions but im new in this ..
