Modify Home Screen

I'm new to XMBC, And I'm interested in modifying the home screen, to remove items that we do not use. Is there a way to customize the home screen?

Yes click on system/settings, go to SKIN and turn on/off what you do and dont want

Most skins have options to hide items, maybe you should tell us which skin you're using.
