Similar view to MCE Year / Album?

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has a customization to view album thumbnails sorted by year. We found this to be the most useful way to sort music - since we play the most recent albums more often (regardless of artist) Here's a link to an example:

I'm using Confluence with no modifications at this point. Does anyone have a cool, customized music library to share as an example? Would love to get a better idea of what's possible with XBMC. Thanks.
