Hello -

Thanks for all the time people put into this great product!

I am having issues -

This is a new install on a "new" machine. Things ran fine, it was running xp. I wiped it clean and installed windows 7 along with the daily from the 10th. I also installed the daily build from the 10th on another computer.

My videos play perfect on the other computer, and on the one I am having issues on play fine in vlc. I cannot get any video to play for more than 8 seconds in xbmc on this troubled computer (that used to work before upgrading the os/xbmc)

The relevant errors are:

Code:
NOTICE: running thread: CDVDPlayerAudio::Process()
NOTICE: Creating audio device with codec id: 86017, channels: 2, sample rate: 48000, no pass-through
ERROR: DirectSoundCreate() Failed (0x88780078)
...
ERROR: CThread::staticThread : Access violation at 0x01347c9a: Reading location 0x00000000

You have a problem with the audio config. Note that Win7 helpfully disables audio devices if it decides that no speakers or headphones are connected. This can cause the problems you're seeing. Try plugging in a pair of headphones and see if that affects the playback.
