How do you rip the link of the stream?? I've just purchased a month subscription from atn networks(Arab channels) and they don't give you the playlist files anymore. It's all web based now. Thnx in advance

I found a really fast and easy way to get lots of Arabic channels is to go into NaviX and do a search on Arabic. So many channels and movies then come up for my viewing.

I have been able to get live arabic channels using combination of the Justin.tv plugin and the live stream plugin as already mentioned in this thread.

here are some refrences...

http://www.arabiciptv.org - is maintining an XML file of arabic live channel streams for free . You can use this xml file with the live stream addon in xbmc to get most arabic channels. However MBC is not working for some reason right now

justin.tv - has both MBC Drama and MBC 1 currently working on them. just find them in XBMC Jtv addon.
Finding these channels in jtv was tricky. as searching for MBC didn't work they were under different names
i recommend you use these steps to find arabic channels in Justin.TV
1. Show all live channels
2. Filter for Arabic Language
3. sort through channels till you find MBC channel

you'll have to search for nsrtv in xbmc-jtv addon to find this.

so with combination of jtv and live-streams addon, i am now able to get most live arabic channels streaming in xbmc. THese streams change eventually and you'll have to keep searching.

Watching live streaming arabic tv won't be as reliable as getting on of the boxes or services reviewed on arabiciptv.org .. like zaaptv i think, and igocolo etc...

as for watching arabic tv shows and movies using xbmc plugin. there are plenty of sites to do so:

an addon for these sites would be nice to scrape and watch streams.

Just wanted to announce that I have started an Arabic repository of XBMC addons available on the following link: https://github.com/hadynz/repository.arabic.xbmc-addons

The repository currently has the following plugins:

1. Al Qahera Al Youm - the popular talk show host presented by Amr Adeeb and co.
2. Sotwesoora.Tv - Plenty of Arabic movies
3. GLArab - make a free account with glarab.com and start watching 100's of Arabic channels immediately

Currently in development and nearing release:

* ATN Network plugin

I will be updating the documentation for the repository on github to help people new to XBMC understand how to install and configure the various repositories.
