i'm trying to create a smart playlist for my documentaries in a specific path... but it's not working, it always end up being empty. i'm forced to chose between movies and tv series so maybe thats why... my documentaries arent scanned into the library because there is no info on internet for them...

so is there a way i can create a smart playlist to list those documentaries ?

i really need it to be smart playlist, can't use favorite because Aeon MQ3 limits 10 favorites maximum to be used in the custom menus, and i have already used all of them. I need to create a custom menu for my documentaries so thats why i need to create a smart playlist

Smart playlists only work with library content. If you can't add these items to the relevant movie or TV show sites so this information can be subsequently scraped, you can create NFO files for your videos. This allows you to scan these videos into the library with the metadata you provide in the NFO files. Once in the library, you can access them via smart playlists.
