XBMC on ARM, BeagleBoard, PandaBoard or others?
#1
I am having a hard time determining what the status of XMBC is on the BeagleBoard-xM and the PandaBoard ES. At this current time, can I expect to compile from source and be able to play 1080p?

Are there any other small ARM boards that I am not aware of?

Thanks for your time.

I'm curious about this too - from the information I've gathered so far it does not *officially* seem to be the case atm - although there may be what could be considered forks in the works.

Platforms that would be ideal to test this out could be BeagleBoard & Raspberry Pi - I'm hoping to get to know embedded systems more intimately this way.

Besides the fact that the Apple TV is ARM-based, some resources that could point to promising developments:

* & the Boxee box seems to be based on ARM as well: http://blog.boxee.tv/2010/01/07/boxee-bo...gra-2-ftw/
