First, thanks for picking up the development of this wonderful tool.

I have one question. I have been using the old EMM with Olympia scraper for the past year or so (with really no issues)...i just recently decided to switch to this updated version.

I rescraped all of my movies and noticed that some of the movies are pulling non-english covers and have different names??

ex.
300 (2006) is showing as 300: The IMAX Experience
21 (2008) is showing as 21 - The Movie

Any ideas as to why some of the covers are non-english and some names are weird??

Thanks in advance...

Hi, I found the problem.

for some reasons, I had tens of processes for Ember Media Manager.exe
I restarted the server, copied the folder for EMM from my previous server, restarted EMM and everything went back to normal, including the sets! What a relief!!!!

Is anyone having issues with extrathumb generation?

I have an ongoing issue where, when a movie is scraped, everything is scraped fine, apart from the extrathumbs.

An empty thumb1.jpg is generated and I can see the ffmpeg.exe process running, but it just sits and hangs, and I need to forcibly close EMM to kill it.

Had this issue ages ago and it was resolved by using an older ffmpeg.exe that used to be stored on megaupload (an old post somewhere in this thread) but thats no longer available.

Is it just me or anyone else seeing this?

Hi,

Any chance of combining TV Shows, that come from two different sources.. I'll explain.

I have two TV sources in EMM. Sadly the first source has run out of Disk Space at the moment.

So I created the second source at a different location.

Both locations include different episodes of Game of Thrones.

Thus after doing a library update there are two Game of Thrones listed in EMM.

Why have a show listed twice just because it uses more than 1 source for episodes.. It should not of course.

I'd imagine fixing this should be pretty simple, yes? After all, you simple check when creating a show in EMM that a show does NOT exist yet and if it does you simply append the new data to it.

And of course the first time the fixed build is run, it needs to check the current listings for doubles to see if data needs to be moved around.

Thanks,

Will

I never came across this problem because I would simply move the files to a different hard disk. It seems an easier solution to me.

Yes I know of the workarounds, thanks.

But it's still something that should be "fixed". It would make the normal user's experience that much better if worked correctly out of box.
