Thank you for your consideration.

Is this the complete strukture for YAMJ tv shows? Where are the nfo?
So what will it be used for movies?

Sorry, I left out the NFO because EMM appears to be saving the NFOs properly. I've added them to your above quote for clarity, and also updated a mistake I made in the original post.

I use EMM for Movies currently and it works flawlessly. My issues with EMM+ YAMJ only appear for TV Shows.

OK, I think this can be solved easily. But I have yet to make the points already started finished. Then I look at the.
i normally use Ember to scrape only movies, but i began to build and collect info for TV shows.
i have 2 HDD for it. One for cancelled or finished TV shows (3 TB) and another for currently on tv (1 TB).

W:\
on air (folder)
\name of the show (dexter)
\1ª temporada
2ª temporada
...

But Ember doesn't recognize nothing at all :-(
what i'm doing wrong?
thx

Excellent, thank you very much! If you need any help testing or need further information, I will be glad to help.

Screenshot please. XBMC Eden, Frodo or YAMJ?
Frodo...
but actually shows are empty...there isn't nothing scrapped...
there isn't nfo/jpg/fanart ... at all
my goal is began to scrape with ember.
or i must began to scrape with XBMC, and after that complete with ember?

No, you can do all with Ember. Use version 1.3.0.9 from my signature and press the Frodo button in tv show settings.

You need this struckture:

South Park
-----> Season 01
-----> -----> South Park - S01E01.avi
-----> -----> South Park - S01E02.avi
-----> Season 02
-----> -----> South Park - S02E01.avi
-----> -----> South Park - S02E02.avi

... or
South Park.S01E01.avi
South Park - S01E01 - Pilot.avi
South Park.S01E01.Pilot.avi
then...
nothing will occur if my files are named like:

on air\dexter\1ª temporada\dexter - 1x01 - Pilot.avi

Season 01 (with S capital letter and 01 two digits) are needed
and 1x01, 7x05, 5x20 ... etc... isn't valid?

thx
I think temporada is the problem. Try to change to season.

The file naming is OK for Ember (that is the way I name all of my TV episodes and do not have any problems). The Season folder naming is what you need to change, to "Season XX" or "Season X". Both will work.

Regards,

Bart
ok...i'll try
thx everybody.

DanCooper you're the best :-)
Well, something of a similar tale to tell ...

I've managed to get all my movies in shape thanks to Ember, although it took some days using the "Movies: Missing items -> Ask -> NFO only" option. More than once, though, the choices it gave were either often too ambiguous or wouldn't actually load, so I kept an Opera window open as well, google-search for "imdb [moviename]" and be able to quickly see which was what and copy the appropriate TT number and paste it into Ember's manual-entry box. Once I had the all-important NFO present, I left it on missing items -> auto best match and it would use the NFO as reference to grab trailers and other metadata.

TV Shows, though ...

I can set my sources right, and the shows / seasons / episodes boxes all fill up accordingly and change wen I click on different shows or seasons, but I cannot scrape, except on a strict episode by episode basis. The "Scrape Media" menu remains grey and un-selectable.

All shows are formatted "Show / Season XX / SxxExx.name.tla"

Thoughts?

I know this may not be the best solution, but you can try right-clicking on the show in the list and select (Re)-scrape Show. You'll have to do each show separately but it should work.

Ahhh ... no. No, that's not a solution with over 700 shows.
sorry but i still can't load my HDD for TV shows.

inside every season there so many folders as files, i mean: every episode are in a same name folder. This way, files needed in XBMC (nfo episode, episode thumb ...) are together.
ember doesn't recognize every show.
i must modify any option in ember.?

sorry my english
I just ordered a wd 3tb green bare drive off Amazon $138.18 so next week will have fun transferring my current TV Shows over and using the 2TB drive to upgrade a 1TB drive for complete series. I current have a 500GB, 1TB and a 2TB for TV shows so be nice to get rid of the 1TB and 500GB transfer to 2TB then 2TB will transfer over to 3TB.

If all work out I plan to replace the 2TB and buy two more to replace my 2TB movie drive with one to spare maxing out my media sonic 4 bay device.
