I got a problem installing 64-bit 11.10 Ubuntu Oneric minimal.
When i am at the part partition disks my SSD is seen as SDB instead of SDA
The usb flash drive i use to install ubuntu from is SDA.
So i get an error with the grub bootloader.
Is there a way i can swap it?

Frontend : Openelec 3.0.3 running on AMD Fusion A6-3500
Backend : Ubuntu 13.04 running with TVHeadend 3.5.x
Remote : Motorola Nyxboard Hybrid (revised) / Boxee remote
Ziggo TV Channel Logo Pack (Dutch)

Install the bootloader into /dev/sdb as grub and stuff are using UDEV it should not matter. It was the same for me with my setup. Just be sure to not install it on the usb stick.

The easiest way is to reinstall, if the installation is "as is" already successful, you can also chroot in and reinstall grub onto the other drive.

Has anyone upgraded their working system from the oneiric tutorial - 11.10 to 12.04 ? What do I need to consider, for example do I need to uninstall the ati drivers first?

the upgrade should just work, ymmv though. No need to uninstall anything, but the ppa will be disabled by the upgrade, so you will need to add it again.
