I have XBMC and network share through Synology ds211j for the content.
This works flawlessly. Recently I added an external WD 1.5TB to the synology, which adds it as a browseable share, to increase space.
It seems this is where it gets spotty and I'm not sure why. If I update library, it doesn't always grab the new files. If I go into file view, it doesn't see the same content (and when it fails, it seems to always list the same 3 folders I believe... when there are 10+ at that root level). So even file view I can't drill down to play it manually.
If I get out of XBMC, open up windows explorer and browse to it.. works just fine!
