Aye, think this is going to be the best one Smile I'm interested to see what Malard has in store for the future though, so I may just wait. I heard him talking about creating alternate designs.

Got the Microsoft 3000 rf keyboard. Mediakeys works out of the box even in linux, but the range is awful. Need to get something else sooner or later...

Hi,

I prefer bluetooth stuff - one bluetooth stick fits all Big Grin

1. Logitech Cordless Mediaboard Pro for PS3
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-PlayStati...583&sr=1-1

2. Sony PS3 Remote control
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Blu-Ray-Disk-...540&sr=8-1

3. Sony PS3 Wireless controller for gaming ..
http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Dualsh...557&sr=8-4

Works really nice with both Linux and windows.

I have a Logitech MK260 set too (RF) but it's limited to 2-3m distance from the RF receiver in practise ... the remote control for example bypasses more than 10 m through 3 walls .. useless feature, but nice to have Wink

So long

I am really loving my IOGEAR Multimedia Keyboard with Laser Trackball and Scroll Wheel, 2.4GHz Wireless GKM561R

It is small enough I can pick it up with my hand across it's width (Just small enough) and it fits nicely on my lap. The mouse works well with the mouse buttons at the opposite top edge.

woaa, if it works great, at $40, damn man!
keep us up2date on that one Jetster!!

EDIT:
---------
a review says accessing the arrow & escape keys require pressing the Fn key...
this can be a pain...
dont know why they did that...

and trackball can't be pressed, so there's no middle-click per se.

Blue back-lighting color is still hard to use in the dark.
green or white would have been better for human eyes.

hhmm...

i expect an epic fail...
why?
well, were in 2012,
a HTPC remote/keyboard/mouse needs to be backlit keys!!
you wont see a darn thing in the dark...
and all AIR MOUSES should have a scroll wheel...

i think my current setup to control my HTPC is hard to beat...

REMOTE: harmony650 which has backlit keys
MOUSE: Gyration Air Mouse Go Plus, which u dont need backlit anyways
KEYBOARD: IpazzPort Mini WireLess RF Keyboard, which has backlit too....
