Receive NET SEND messages with XBMC?
#1
hi,
don't know how hard it would be to implement this feature.
i use this on my linux dbox especially in combination with an isdn monitoring program on my pc which sends a pop up message to my box with incoming phone number and caller name.

hi,
that doesn't work for me - it's too specific cause i use another monitoring program on my pc.
the other thing is that this "show incoming call" thing was only one example for the net send feature - there are other possibilities for use.

this sounds pretty doable in python. do you know of any links that describe this protocol? if it's pretty simple i might give it a shot.
