What is the most beautiful HTPC case?
im leaning towards lian li. but the lack for internal remote support really sucks. is it possible to drill a hole for ir receiver inside the case? im havent seen any internal ir receiver in real life, so i dont know if that is possible.

It's made for a mini-itx mainboard with build in power supply (60 watt) and there is no place for a dvd drive Smile.

Sadly it is brushed metal. I'm going to powder coat it black.

I found this thread thanks to the picture above. If you Google "mini itx htpc case" you'll find this thread!

I've been doing my own looking around for a cool mini HTPC case. That case above is the HT60.That case has a bigger brother too, HT80, with an ODD and an IR window.

The only place in the US I found it is here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-HT80-mini-IT...d=ViewItem

I cannot find the HT60 other than on a Chinese website.

There's even an HT100 with a LCD window that looks a lot like an OrigenAE case. I have no idea if any available LCD (which seems to be either iMon VFD or nMediaPC LCD) would fit though. Again, only available on a Chinese website.
While we (or I) am dreaming:

Those cases are from a company named Surelink...

I think they are really beautiful, although i can't comment on their performance since i havent read any reviews :0

Still they are really good looking (although the micro atx one (last one) looks like a wesena case - only available on chinese site)...

Btw the first two are mini itx (with no IR) and the 3d one is Micro Atx (with IR as option)

The last one is also called the "TF5" from Karma Digital.

Which all happen to look like various Omaura and Wesena cases. Smile

The tf5 from karma or the myhtpc (last picture) in my previous post

They might be hard to find: "Karma Digital Corporation has moved away from HTPC cases to concentrate on it's developments with 'Smart Technology' enabled products".

I'm wondering if anyone know where to find this silent case in U.S. If the price is right, I might use it to built a Trinity HTPC. If it is too expensive, I might go with my original plan (SilverStone SG06B). Smile

I really don't understand why they ask so much money for a case like this...ok it has a nice display but my old dvd player of 70 dollar has that to,my Onkyo receiver is also build in a nice "case" with a good display. If only that case would cost 300$ I would have to get a THX certified 7.1 HDMI reciever for under 200$ :-). That's why I think that most of all that cases are overpriced...but what can I do about it Confused
So I will buy one of these:

Many / Some user prefer a display, but I think it doesn't add much! My FC5-EVO OD is already ordered Blush (although it is overpriced a little bit, too)

No certainly if you have a tablet or smartphone there's no need to put your tv on just for playing some music...Nod
And yes those Streacom's don't come cheap eighter...No Psu,no fan(for non passive case),optional USB3 cable and IR module. But ok it looks good.

The m10 is one version of the same basic case that can also be found here for less without the display, different front fascia and power supply but the rest the same: HTTP://www.ecosmartpc.com/ht100.html
