I got the same error today as well. Could the server be down?

I guess I should also say that i get a "packages cannot be authenticated" when trying to install it via NitoTV

I also had this problem which was to do with the device out of space message you see in your log. Jester provided a solution by moving the Applications folder to the second partition. Look in the FAQ or search these forums for 'no space left on device' for the specifics of the fix.

Found the solution that worked for me at the Firecore forum:

I had trouble installing other applications you miss the move apps scripts that was ok on 4.3

ssh root@<apple-tv ip or hostname> (alpine is the default password)
mkdir -p /private/var/Applications
cd /Applications
mv * /private/var/Applications
cd /
rmdir /Applications
ln -s /private/var/Applications /Applications
