Sync Media Files
#1
I wrote this app to allow my friends and I to keep our media files in sync regardless of the location of the files on our individual systems. Sync Media Files has the ability to copy all files that you do not currently have using a 'Have' list, or to select files that you want to have using a 'Wish' list.

How to copy files with a 'Have' List
1. Create a list of files that you have on your system
2. Go to friends house, and copy all files that are not in your have list

How to copy files with a "Wish List"
1. You will need to have a copy of your friends 'Have' list
2. On your system, create a 'Wish' list
3. Go to friends house, and copy all files that are on your 'Wish' list

Of course you should have your friend create their lists so when you get home you can copy media for them that they may want.

The 'Copy Options' behave like this:

The path to your friends files D:\Lou\Movies\
The path to which you want to save the files F:\Backup

If you select 'Use full path' the files will be saved in F:\Backup\D\Lou\Movies\
If you select 'Use partial path' the files will be saved in F:\Backup\Movies\
If you select 'Use one folder' the files will be saved in F:\Backup\

I have included some empty movie folders, and an empty 'copy test' folder for you to test with until you are comfortable. When you are ready to try this on your files, delete everything EXCEPT Sync Media Files.exe from the Sync Media Files folder.
