Hi guys,

Been searching my hair grey for answer to my problem.

my problem:

I'm using windows pc.
used putty to install xbmc onto my jailbroken Apple TV.
worked fine, got the latest version for eden build.

after the above, "all hell breaks loose" - When i want to add videos from my PC, through my home network wireless, i can find my pc allright, but when i want to connect to my pc inside XBMC, it gives me a screen "LOCK SETTINGS" where i put my username, pass etc.

What is this ? been trying to type my pc username//pass no luck, been trying all kind of combos with username//pass. ??

further to above i have read like most ppl who get this is because they have "Windows Live - sign in assistant" installed. - which I DONT have.

any way to work arround this ??

In the begining when i jailbroke my atv2, and installed XBMC i was so proud, cuz normally this aint my ball game.. but now ... sigh !

Closing this question, found out myself with help from my friend google :-)

Just had to disable password and set permissions for the folder to be shared..
