I am using a Mac Mini (mid 2010) running Snow Leopard 10.68
Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.4Ghz
Memory: 4GB DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA 320M
I tried XBMC Eden Beta with no luck. Install from .dmg worked without a hassle. But when I play a TV Show, Movie or even a Trailer. there is a lot of stuttering. Makes a movie completely unwatchable. It's like there is no hardware acceleration activated at all. In 10.1 there was an option for Hardware Acelleration (VDA Decoder) but I can't find that option in Eden.
The movie and TV Show sources 're 1080p / 720p.X264 .mkv and the Trailer came from the builtin plugin, YouTube?
Reinstall to XBMC 10.1 fixed the problem.
EDIT
When I enabled debugging I noticed the frames dropping way below 24.0 even without playing a movie it's only about +/- 50.0 whereas 10.1 doubled that.
