In case this helps someone else. Apparently the official xbmc unstable repo doesnt build nightlies as often as some other unofficial repos.
I added this repo: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mario-sitz/ppa Did a sudo apt-get update Then sudo apt-get install xbmc And it updated to last nights nightly, which fixed this problem for me. (But may have introduced others !). Be warned if using nightlies. |

Cheers fezster, will give that a go and see what happens.
![]() edit; seems to have worked, it's now using nightly from today (DD02\MM01\2012), well it's booted into the XBMC gui at least...So thanks indeed and thanks to all who have posted!
