AJ, Is this add-on also closed ? I don't see the files in your repo ?

As soon as the playit service starts, XMBC crashes. is there a way to disable it from the backend since XMBC crashes even before I have a chance to disable it

It might not be the exact reason, can you share logs.

You can delete service.playit folder from XBMC addons.

I did try delete it and it still crashed, so AJ is probably right that the crash had nothing to do with this plugin. I dont have the logs right now, but will get it later. I was able to solve the issues by upgrading to EDEN beta 2

This plugin is great! I wanted to know if it auto upgrades? Or i should download it again and install it from the beginning? And one more thing: could you make it compatible with http://www.vplay.ro ? This would be a very interesting feature for my xbmc powered system.

Yes, the plugin auto upgrades, no need to re-install.

Nice website vplay.ro, added to plugin you will just need to restart XBMC, XBMC will apply the update automatically.

It is not dependent on apple tv version. What is your XBMC version, is PlayIt service started successfully when XBMC starts.
