Add-on settings not updated until after re-start

Can anyone confirm this please?

Changing a setting in a PVR client, is not effective until after the add-on is restarted (either via toggling "Live TV" enabled off/on, or re-starting XBMC).

And I'm talking about the 'regular' configuration. Not the configuration immediately after installation, since that is handled differently.
