I think starting with this update, there is some weird behavior for me (the time frame seems about right at least). Occasionally after pressing a button, XBMC starts jumping around menus wildy (like the button was not properly depressed?). Killing the remote on my phone does not help, the only thing that stops it is restarting my XBMC Eden beta instance...

@nupi, shadow_cruiser: There was some change in the event client code that maybe causes this behavior. I'll try to compile a version with those changes for you to test. Which Android version are you running the remote on?
Running XBMC on my HTPC, tablet, phone and pinball machine. Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forums before posting. Do NOT e-mail Team-XBMC members asking for support. For troubleshooting and bug reporting, make sure you read this first. |

I am running it on Android 2.3.7 (in Cyanogenmod 7.2). I could also test on my Transformer, on Honeycomb next time I use XBMC

Something in eden beta git:22ad8e4 (compile jan 9,1012) got it from openolec, (OpenELEC-Generic.i386-devel-20120109011020-r9469) broke the remote to not recognize the network, and I continually get socket timeouts, even though I can close, and then continue to use the remote.
