XBMC-VDR Timer problem
#1
When setting a timer from EPG, the recording is being started as scheduled, however the current channel playback stops and picture stalls. There is possible to switch manually to channel is being recorded (or another one belonging to same transponder). However, channel is supposed to be switched automatically a moment before VDR initiates recording.

My setup is XBMC-PVR PRE 11.0 GIT: 20111101-053e479 integrated with VDR 1.17.22 through Pipelka's XVDR addon (0.9.5). All these are running under Slackware Linux 13.37_x64 at PC equipped with Hauppauge Nexus-s DVB-S card (Philips SAA7146).

Any suggestion(s) would be appreciated.

HI, is your dvb-[tcs] or wahtever-card able to play two different channels simultaneously?

Because if not, then what you experience is perfectly normal: vdr can play just one channel at a time. In order to not spoiling your recording, it starts the recording on channel A. Thus it can't play channel B any more and your picture freezes...

Oh, that's completely clear! As far as channels A and B belong to different transponders, tuner can not receive them both simultaneously. The problem is XBMC does not switch to channel A as long as it unable to receive B. It implies on user to manually switch to channel within current transponder, which is not intuitive.
