Does Eden support ATSC closed captions embedded in a TS container?
I use mythTV and hdhomerun, I can access the CC in mythfrontend but not in XBMC (I used "enable subtitles" in the audio menu).
I thee is not such support and I have to extract the CC info myself, can I use the raw CC info or do i have to convert it in an srt file?

Did you ever find a good answer for this? I too have TS files with CC subs but am not sure how to get xbmc to display them. any hints on srt conversion? thanks!

BTW, "CC extractor" works great for this, which is nice if you have recorded TS files, but ideally, the default video player in XBMC would be able to read the CC streams in TS files (right now I can get SRT files created for my TV recordings in TS files, but it's not able to display captions on live TV--and VLC *can*).
