Is there some way to get xmbc to save the poster for a movie to the movie folder instead of locally?

Scan your movies first with something like ember media manager to get the actually files into each movie folder, EMM will scrape fanart, poster, trailer, nfo, thumbnail, actors thumbs and extrathumbs all as actual files to each of your movie folders.

Makes stuff easier to organize and of course if xbmc blows up, you want need to rescrape everything because its actually in your movie folders, EMM also works for tv shows.

not sure about auto scan , don't know much software that will do that, EMM can scan entire collections or individual media drives with just one click.

Right now you cant automate it 100%.

I have to copy the file to my Movie folder.
click update, click scrape and click sort into folder. (1 copy paste, 3 clicks)
And I have the file renamed in a folder with the same name and all the other files like .nfo, poster...
