would it be possible to make xbmc invulnerable to mplayer chrashes?
here's my problem: i'm using xbmc.player.play from python. if i call it with an asx file, then xbmc freezes - forcing me to reboot the hard way. optimally an mplayer chrash would cause an exception. but if it just ignored the error and unloaded/loaded mplayer then that would also be a big improvement. or even if mplayer stopped functioning and i atleast could make a soft reboot from the xbmc gui, then that also would be much better.
Make XBMC invulnerable to MPlayer chrashes?
