Hi all,

I'm happily running XBMC LIVE on an Acer Revo 3610, currently on Dharma but will update to Eden when the version is finalised. I've got 2 HDD's directly plugged into the Revo which manage my content.

This works fine, though it's not great having to shut the box down and move the required HDD when I want to update the content. I COULD do this over FTP, but I find that less convenient than just physically moving the HDD's.

Now I want to set-up a second box. So it would seem smart to have a wirelss network when both boxes can access the HDD's - problem is I've tried this previously and every guide on here that I've tried to use to set this up has been of no help. The guides direct you do get various programs, all of which I can never seem to get in the way the people direct me, seemingly quite clearly, to do so.

Can anyone either write, or link me to, a good guide for creating a wireless network with a LIVE version of XBMC? Please keep in mind I'm not great with Linux - I can follow guides but I don't understand very well what it is that I am actually doing.

Also, I don't know if people have tried it yet - but apparently Eden will feature an easier install process for LIVE users? Anyone know anything about this?

Many thanks

This is in my view the easiest way

I recommend you stick to that one until you make it work and ask question about that. Your will not find a better way in XBMC live.
I also recommend people to boot a standard ubuntu desktop/live CD of the same version as xbmcLive is based on. (for the moment Lucid 10.04). That way you know the HW is good to go.
