[RELEASE] Demand 5 (Video) Addon - UK Channel 5 on demand

Many thanks to Spoyser for fixing the show parsing problem and the other tweaks suggested. I've incorporated these into update 1.0.2
I've confirmed this works in both Dharma and Eden b3 (on Windows).
I believe most of the other reported problems relate to issues with older versions of the rtmp library, but anybody who has problems, please post full details in this thread so I can try to resolve.

If you installed via my repository you should automatically get an update
(My repo: http://nibor-xbmc-repo.googlecode.co...tory.nibor.zip )

Otherwise you can get a .zip for 1.0.2 from:

Just tried now mate, working perfect. Many thanks. I had an issue with the files not playing at first, this was down to me having unblock-us activated which would leave the 'Loading' bar hanging, then nothing. After I made sure it was turned off, this update works perfect.

It has an option to download a file when I click on it, this isn't something I need at the moment, but if I do would I just assign a d/l folder and have the file will be saved into that?

That is exactly how it works. If you never download you can disable the prompt in the settings, just change "Default action on select" to Play.

Brilliant plug-in (also 4OD) I can play videos using both of them using the Eden builds.

But, I can't download. I'm running:

• v1.0.2 of the plug-in
• RTMPdump version 2.4 (inside get_iplayer)
  

It says Starting download and then very soon afterword says download finished, but nothing has been downloaded.

getting exactly the same using exactly the same

I know it's not officially supported, but could you take a look at this Xbmc4xbox error log to see if this plugin could be made compatible? Please?

I think I have been having a similar problem on the demand 5 app. Are there any pre-requisites for it to work? My issues are:
* Nothing plays (in the log I got an error along the linesw of "Server not genuine adobe")
* I have rtmpdump installed, but when it downloads, the files is 0kb, so it appears to just create the placeholder, I understand a certain version of rtmpdump is required, is that just the newest one from the repo?

My system is: XBMC Eden RC1, Ubuntu 11.10

When you get a 0kb file is it definately saying that it has finished downloading?

If so can you look in the log file and look for a line that say something along the lines of;



If you then paste the line into a terminal window (without the leading COMMAND LINE: bit) what happens?
