Release CetonTV+HDHomeRun - Watch TV on XBMC (WIN/OSX)
OK so I am doing something wrong but I can't figure it out. I installed the the tvserver 0.5.0d and set it up then it says failed to add a device. I set up for a HDHomeRunPrime, IP 192.168.1.9, tuners 1, 2, 3, and I've opened the port. I have the RemoteCeton 2.2.3 set up and it works fine. What am I doing wrong.

I have been using remoteceton 2.2.3 for about a month now on my win7 laptop, raspberry pi, and android tablet. When I get a chance, I look forward to trying out the new ceton server. Any thoughts about getting this to work on windows phone 7?

What folder do the recordings stay in and how can I change it? I also noticed when I go to the recordings that it freezes and has to be forced closed.

Hi all, great work this is awesome. I have gotten 2.2.3 to work great except one problem local channels seem to work but on ESPN and other cable channels i get a blank or green screen with a few lines of the picture at the top. My guess is a problem encoding or something, it even does in in direct stream, but local work fine. THese channels work fine in media center with ceton, any ideas of what I can check? Also hwo do you get the pvr to work in XMBC? is there another install? I copied the pvr.ceton but I must be missing something? I also tried the logomapper but no logs show up in the logos folder.

Thanks and if I can help anyone please let me know.

Ill see. I'm not sure what format it requires for live streaming though.

The program doesn't record, so there shouldn't be any recordings. Ill check why it crashes later.

What tv provider do you have?

I'll work on other OSes after I finish what I want to do in my todo list, but the XBMC plugin should work on any OS.Image

Time Warner encrypts their channels. So you won't be able to watch anything besides local ones

Guess updating to the beta firmware solved it! I was already on it :\

Thanks mcheng89 for this plugin and pvr. I have a w7, a pivos m1, apple tv1 with openelec, and apple tv2 in which have been testing the tvserver v0.5.0e plugin and pvr. A few issues I don't know if anyone else was experiencing. The tvserver plugin works on all of the client platforms I mentioned but the tvserver host stops the video stream after about an hour of streaming on the all 4 platforms. Only on Pivos, appletv 1& 2 the system does a complete reset after changing the channel, after the box resets I can restart the plugin "without having to restart the tv server" and the plugin is set to the changed channel. Any ideas for a solution? I'm somewhat technically savvy so I'm available for any testing you may want me to try.

Same exact situation here when attempting to stream from http://localhost:8888/m/

The XBMC PVR addon looks promising. I can connect and see all the EPG data, but when I select a channel I get the following (and then XBMC hangs):

Any chance the pvr.tvserver add-on could support an option on where to save recordings in XBMC? That would make the whole package for XBMC killer.

Everything works good With Ceton Tuner! Looking forward to the raspberry pi PVR client!
