What's happening with this Addon? 2.0 is the latest I think, but it will not work for me any longer on XBMC pre Eden on Ubuntu. I addon starts, and I can browse the videos, but they will not play/stream.

I guess there must be a lot of swedish people that want this to work?

Yep, it is basically a Live 10 installation with nightly builds of XBMC.

What can I do then? I've tried to uninstall the add-on many times, and I remove everything that has to do with that add-on in /.xbmc/addons and /.xbmc/userdata/addon_data.

It's only on my Ubuntu version it doesn't work. On OSX and Win7 it works.

Is there anything else I can try to remove to be sure that the add-on is completely reinstalled?

EDIT: In this log have I just started XBMC, and started the addon, and tried to start an program. It just doesn't start... =(

Had some issues with the SVT Play addon aswell. I was able to play the videos, but experienced a lot of buffering and the movie also stopped from time to time.

I have switch to XOT and do not experience those issues any longer and i aslo got all of this swedish play channels as a bonus:

TV8
TV9
Sveriges Television (SVT Play)
Viasat Sport
Sveriges Utbildningsradio (UR Play)

Well, I know that the addon SHALL work. It works for others on Ubuntu, and it works for me on OSX and Win7.

I need to get in touch with someone that knows exactly where that addon "keep the stuff", so I can remove ALL of it before I reinstall it.

And someone that can read my log to see that XBMC says about it..

Anyhow, even if it passes the links to librtmp, it doesn't work, because the flash file doesn't exist anymore. It's http://svtplay.se/flash/svtplayer-2012.1.swf now.

The problem is something with the app= and playpath=, use rtmpsuck to figure them out.

Pre eden was direct from the source. Now its RC2 yeah.
https://github.com/akezeke/spotyxbmc2 is the version I use, but should have nothing to do with this problem.

What do you mean with "passes the link..." and "..flash file doesn't exist.." ?

I've also noticed, that when I enable AirPlay in XBMC, and run all the services in the background that I need, and then try to switch a SVT Play video from the iPad to XBMC, it also just won't start. Just like with the add-on.

Is it possible that there are some problem with my XBMC to connect to SVT Play, and the problem is not in this add-on or AirPlay?

Thx a lot for this XOT hint! This works just fine. Yet the backside really is the unsorted interface which makes it rather hard to find the most important broadcasts day by day. I hope I can use the latest version of svt plugin with frodo as with eden there is only v 2.0.4 available.
