i installed xbmc eden edition on my atv2 4.4 most videos play fine but a few dont, they are the same file format and for all i can see they are all the fine type but yet a few dont work below is the crashlog from the last time it crashed:

crashlog + syslog needed in addition (you only posted the xbmc.log) - first link in my signature...

beside that - try with confluence instead of quartz for ruling out skin issues...
