Hello guys,
I have done translated the XBMC menu to Arabic language. It takes forever to translate the huge list, also because the arabic language start written from the right so I have to do that manually and make sure everything make sense. The keyboard letters still English. I haven't figured out that yet.

So how to do that.
1- download these two zip files on your computer, and extract them to the same name of each file which is "Arabic", download them in different loacations because the name of the folder.
*http://www.mediafire.com/?42ci2qm88bt80yd , this folder has two files langinfo.xml and strings.xml

*http://www.mediafire.com/?yveu71yen8nyeh4 , this folder has one file strings.xml

2-Upload the first folder to ATV2 which is this one
http://www.mediafire.com/?42ci2qm88bt80yd to this path of ATV2
Code:
/private/var/stash/Applications/XBMC.frappliance/XBMCData/XBMCHome/language

3-Upload the second folder http://www.mediafire.com/?yveu71yen8nyeh4 to this path
Code:
/private/var/stash/Applications/XBMC.frappliance/XBMCData/XBMCHome/addons/skin.confluence/language

If you don't know how to upload file/folder to ATV2 , I have expalined that before in this topic How to upload a folder to ATV2,XBMC

4- After you finished uplaoding,
Lunch XBMC, go System >> Settings>> Apperance >> International then change the langauge to Arabic.

5- Also go here System >> Settings>> Apperance >> Skin and change the font to Skin default with no Caps, to make sure everythings works fine. like the picture below.

Big thanks for the hard work to make this translation. A few questions before commit:

- Is Arabic enough for a description or I should note any special dialect with it ?
- Can you provide an email address which I can write in the strings xml file as a contact email ?
- The strings you have not translated is because you can not or you don't want to translate at the moment. Should I leave them like this in English ?

It works great anyway. Thanks for the hard work.

You are welcome.

- Yes Arabic is enough, or you can add (العربيةWink which means Arabic.
- Sure my email is: alyami1@live.com.
- The strings that I haven't translated sounds familiar in English more than Arabic, because some of them don't make sense or it doesn't give any meaning.

Most of the strings that I haven't translated are in the skin.confluence's strings.xml have been translated today. here the updated file.

I have a few questions:
- Can I add the Arabic/English letters in XBMC keyboard letters, so i can type both languages. If Yes which file should I work on?

Thank you.
Glad to answer any questions.
