sorry i'm not having any luck with the othe channel. both chrome & firefox aren't playing it. do you have any other page links to it?

the first 2 that you posted can be used for those of you who want to use autoupdate, the pastebinlinks are from me and i just update the links when there's a bigger change. the last link (Blackoutworms list) will be back up when it starts getting colder again (he wants to enjoy the summer and thus is watching less tv).

Thanks. I'm assuming that we have to re-drop the file each time we update XBMC on nightlies?
not required since the source file for livestreams is in your user folder and that doesn't get altered during updates. as long as the xml files you are using stay in the same place they only get updated when you update them (urls whenever they get updated online)

you can try in your user folder. just add the player/dvdplayer/ folder path to your user/system/ folder.
after your next xbmc update try playing a rtmpe stream. if it plays, you should be alright.

Im after a bit of help with some radio streams......

If i add this url into my browser the station plays:

http://jrfm.streamon.fm/

However when i input into my xml file it wont stream.

<title>JR FM Vancouver</title>
<link>http://jrfm.streamon.fm/</link>
<thumbnail>http://www.jrfm.com/templates/JRFM/images/jrfm_logo.png</thumbnail>

Any ideas to what im doing wrong Confused

usually i'll find a stream using the page research options in firefox/chrome (ctrl+shift+i). But that didn't work in this case, so i simply googled "jrfm live stream" and was led to a site with canadian radio streams. played the stream off that site and just copied the link address that was displayed in my media player. Smile

another quick word of advice for radio streams: more likely than not you'll have to look for a playlist link (ends with .m3u or .pls)
