[All] "Recently Added" TV Episodes Missing Thumbnails (conditionally)

This issue has bothered me off and on for months now, but I only just now figured out a reproducible issue. I am using an automated system with Sickbeard handling my TV shows. I am downloading a few "daily" shows like Colbert Report and The Daily Show. Here's the bottom line:
When scanning in a show, if there is no thumbnail available from the scraper, then no thumbnail will be displayed for this item in "Recently Added Episodes" until a refresh using that scraper is done. This is pretty peculiar, but here's my isolation steps:
-This issue occurs regardless of how the show is added to XBMC, either via manual "scan for new content", "update library", or automatically by SickBeard
-Occurs only if the thumbnail is missing at scan-time. This is most prevalent on "daily" type shows because TheTVDB is usually not updated with the metadata for each episode immediately.
-This issue occurs in Confluence (packaged with the Eden beta), and with Night, but it looks like it will effect any skin, since its specifically "Recently Added Episodes".
-This issue persist across multiple XBMC sessions (closing & re-opening the application does not resolve issue)
-This issue is NOT resolved when XBMC auto-generates the missing thumbnail! (The weirdest part IMO)

Has anyone else seen this Confused

I have seen this issue as far back as I can remember with Eden nightlies, and the issue persists in the "current" beta.
Running on Windows 7 x64.

I will be on vacation for like 10 days starting tomorrow so I will have to check it out when I get home Smile

Same issue here - only for me it's not just recently added - in the main tv show area - seemingly random show are coming up with a blue ribbon and not showing the thumbnails.
