[Live] 5.1 Sound work but not simple 2.0/2.1?

Hi,

Version : xbmc-10.1-live
USBInstaller : LiLi
Architecture : 64 bits
Hardware : Zotac HD-ND22
Skin : Aeon NOX

Problem : When playing mkv 5.1 movies the sound works fine but when playing smaller avi files with 2.1 or 2.0 sound there is not coming any sound at all?

The audio settings Im using is these
Audio output : Optic/Coax
Speaker Config : 5.1
Boost Volume level on downmix : true
Dolby Digital (AC3) capable reveiver : true
DTS capable reveiver : true
Audio output device : default
Passthrough outpit device : ?

What's the output of aplay -l? You might need a custom asound.conf or .asoundrc file. The codecs between the two files are different. One is mp3 and the other is AC3. Check you xmbc log file and see if anything audio wise is failing as well.

Im new to XBMC Live and I do only use Window at regular bases so I need som help here.

What is aplay -l? How do I execute it?

I know how to activate the debug but how do I get it? I supose that the log will not be shared over SMB as default?

I have runned openElec before and the sound worked just fine there (with the same settings in XBMC).
