Just in case people missed it but the new release of VLC is "mod-able" to play Blu-rays! So another step to no more need for expensive software to play our beloved movies!
Lacks a few features but I have tried it out on a windows machine and it worked fine! [National Treasure 2]
Saw it at Anandtech first...
