What app are you talking about? From the XBMC addon the Hulu Beta I can not play any video so I thought it will solve my problem.

Hoping I may get some help here with this. I have my ATV2 set up with XBMC. All was working well but now the search feature within Hulu gives an error every time.

Still not working fellas! No new update available. But I have experimented with HLS last days on my machine, but somehow it looks bad.
Hulu supports many platforms, does anyone know what platforms it offers all the content? e.g. the iOS app offers only limited shows, right?

Switched to XBMC for the Amazon support, then it was gone (to browser). Got used to that and was happy with my Hulu shows still working, now its gone. Its just about time for me to move on.

You do know that the hulu addon here allowed you to watch not only hulu plus content but all Hulu content as well. Hulu on roku is only Hulu plus

there's still the free cable USTvOD addon... although now it seems that the broadcast stations have figured out a way to make you "sign in through a cable provider" to get instant shows... otherwise sometimes you have to wait a week for the show to appear....

I've been testing this for about a week and can confirm that it works, however 720p still seems to have problems for me.
This is the change in stream_hulu.py to make it work:
Pastebin with indents is here : http://pastebin.com/JEED61ea
follow the indentation in the original code.
Remember to set 'edgecast' as cdn in addon settings.
Hopefully someone is working on SWF2, I doubt this fix will last.
