Hi, apologies if this has been discussed before. Is it possible to disable library updates started remotely (couch potato,sickbeard) when watching a video. I have an acer revo 3700 and when the library scan kicks off in the background the video starts skipping and locks up for 30 seconds. I want the updates to carry on when i have finished watching. Thanks in advance to any xbmc veterans that can help

that will be a last resort solution as i want them to update xbmc when new films and tv episodes are finished. I was hoping there was some hidden option to ignore library request updates while playing video. Thanks
