Hello, I would like to request an Add On for the awesome service, Audiogalaxy (http://www.audiogalaxy.com). The service allows you to play all your music stored on a network computer from ANYWHERE!

The good news, they are kind enough to provide a Developer API program (http://www.audiogalaxy.com/misc/developer) and looks like a potential good fit for XBMC developement.

I hope somebody feels up to the challenge!

This would be unbelievably cool, its genie mode would be amazing for xbmc, you could literrally have the tv hooked up to the sound system, and people could queue/select music, and genie would take over.

I'm amazed this doesn't exist yet.

If there wasn't stupid geo restrictions on the mixes (i.e. US only) - I'd probably have a crack at it. You could achieve the library playback bit more easily using something like Logitech Media Server (free - http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Re...ming)...so it's really only the mixes bit that is special I reckon. But now that Pandora, Spotify and MOG have all gone international, it seems peculiarly backwards to be US only.

I'm wasn't even aware of audiogalaxy mixes feature. I just use the library playback that is possible via the website http://www.audiogalaxy.com/#!/music? and the android app.

Could you perhaps consider helping with the library playback? Maybe someone else will then expand it for mixes support. I really only care about the library playback with genie support.

It'd be tremendously appreciated. It's the only music system I use.

Sorry, not for a service with any geo restrictions. Not my cup of tea when e.g. LMS can do exactly the same sort of thing and is both more comprehensive and open.

Looks fairly easy though, just some python to call a few json APIs - only hard part might be the authorisation/token system. Who knows I might get bored enough, but don't bet on it Smile

Would it be possible to have something like the genie mode integrated into XBMC? I have made smart playlists etc, but nothing has been better than starting up AudioGalaxy and using their genie mode. But I love the GUI and display with XBMC, such as lyrics etc.
