I'm not sure what you said, but I wouldn't worry about it in this context. Even a year later, the topic here probably hasn't changed much :)

Its not the lightpack you show in in the link. Those guys arent producing that kit yet or in small ammounts. Dunno whats up with those guys, but its hard to get that kit.

Anyway, i bought an Lightpack from someone in Isreal which is builded on Lightpack Controller. I am using Frodo (12.2)

Got lightpack a few days ago. The kit came with all leds, the controller, mounting-materials. Verry complete!

I installed Prismatik to run Lightpack under XBMC. I dont have it yet running under boblight, because there are manny scripts, and some doesnt work for this controller. Its kinda confusing which script i need to use, there no good detailed FAQ/Manual for this. I'll find this out later. For the time being i will use Prismatik, which do the same.

All leds working really great (much brighter then in the photo's). You needed to setup the leds with the corresponding channels (coloring boxes). The whole configuring and mounting takes like 1 hour.

See the pictures below, how it looks.

Above has 10 channels and all the led's in every channel outputs the same color? Is that correct?
The pictures let me believe that light output is not that high but maybe your telly has a very bright screen so that could be the reason for that?

Where did you order this and what are the costs for the setup?

So far i tested it uses 10 channels. Dunno if i can use more. Didnt test any other programs yet. It has 6 high quality leds on 1 strip. There are 10 strips in total.

I bought it from a guy in Isreal. It was shipped within 1 week through EMS.

And yes, my DSLR dont get the exact exposure, because of the brightness of my TV.

Hello guys,

Will this work on OpenELEC too? Is it hard to configure it?

I'm not new to XBMC but I'm new with a stand alone Media Center running OpenELEC.

Thank you in advance.

Hi have a question about lightpack. Does it interfere with the vesa mount? Because for my 55"tv I want 4 of those. I've sent them an email and all they say is that I can order one and if it doesn't work, I can send it back. Thank you.
