I haven't tried to do this in quite some time, but you used to be able to delete the Thumbnails folder and then open Movies and the movie thumbs would re-populate, but that isn't working for me. If I go into movie info, the thumb will appear (without even going to get thumb) and stay, but I don't want to have to do that for all 1000+ of movies. I also tried deleting Textures.db, but that didn't help. According to the log, XBMC tries to extract a thumb from the file, but they are VIDEO_TS folders so it can't. Why is it trying to do that instead of just loading the movie.tbn file?

I am running Eden b2.

Here is my log:

Actually, you could NEVER delete the thumbnails folder and have it repopulate unless you happened to have local art. Even then, it wasn't guaranteed.

Now, as long as you delete the Textures*.db then they will repopulate, no matter where the art comes from.
