I've noticed that for the last few weeks when I play a video when it gets to the end of the file it starts playing again from the beginning. It never used to do this.
I'm guessing it's a setting I have enabled but I can't for the life of me seem to find anything that turns it off.
Running eden beta 2.

Some skins have the 'repeat' function off the OSD player, look for it there.

I can't see any playlist repeat option and it seem's to be happening with all the skins I've tried so far (Xeebo and Aeon Nox)

This was annoying me tonight as well. A google search brought up this thread. After messing with it forever, I finally figured it out.
Go into your TV shows section, and bring up the menu. The very last option on the list is something like: "go to now playing" or something like that. Click on that and it will take you to another area. Keep hitting left arrow until the side menu pops up. In that menu you will see REPEAT. Turn that to OFF. Duh... most obvious place ever... ![]() Now I'm still trying to figure out how to make the skip back less than 30 seconds. It's so stupid that skip forward and backwards are both 30 seconds. Did you just skip a few seconds past where you wanted and need to hear what they just said? Oh, I'm sorry... have fun rewinding 30 seconds and waiting. So... if anyone knows where to change this stupid setting in Eden, then I will be all set... |

It's right there in the manual under "Keyboard controls". the " key http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Keyboard/Videos |

Ned, you must not be married. If I handed my wife a giant keyboard and told her to reach for it and hit the " key when she wanted a short skip back instead of using the IR remote, she'd divorce me.
I need a way to change the skip back seconds because that's the only key IR remotes have on it for skip back. That's not in the manual you linked me to. Ned Scott Wrote:Did you try the manual? It's right there in the manual under "Keyboard controls".

You can either change the left arrow on the remote to a small jump back, or you can choose some other button to do the small jump back. To change the left arrow create an advancedsettings.xml. As it happens I've just posted how to do this in http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=121261 To assign the small step to a different key you need to create a key mapping file. Are you using Windows? If so grab KeymapEdit (the Eden version) from http://xbmcmce.sourceforge.net/ and use it to change mapping for your selected button to SmallStepBack. JR |
