Is this deal too good to be true?

Saw this on Newegg

From my knowledge, its a good brand. Normal price is 800 bucks. Put the discount code in and its a savings of 500 bucks. Plus free shipping! (I assume US only).

The discount code is EMCNJHF77

What does everyone think of this deal? Are these good speakers?

I'm currently using some old Bose bookshelf speakers. They are 10+ years old. They still sound great on the highs but the mids are a bit muddy.

For $170 each, it's a good deal if you are setting up modest HT or replacing very cheap speakers. But aside from the high frequency drive, which does look interesting, there's nothing special here. Mid range drivers are cheap and tuned port for bass has never impressed me. But if you can't spend more, you aren't doing to bad.
